Why Local Matters
Many hearing care offices in our area are owned by large investment firms, hearing aid manufacturers, or even health insurance companies. While they may appear local, their decisions and priorities are often made far from our community — sometimes even out of state or out of the country. Even clinics with "Houston" or "Texas" in the name are deceptively not local. Did you know, even Kelsey-Seybold was purchased by Optum (United Health Care) in 2022?
