These are the top of the line, prescription hearing aids in 2025. If you want to know how they rank, I will leave that up to you and your hearing care provider to decide. There are different benefits for each device. Different levels of technology in each device. And each hearing aid will have a different sound quality. It is best recommended for you to work with your hear care professional to demo different devices and decide what is best for your hearing loss and your needs.
What if I have a mild hearing loss and I just want a hearing aid that's good enough to get by? If a patient were in my clinic saying that, I would tell them, I still recommend they get a prescription hearing aid, but we either order them a low tech level, or I'll order them an older model. That way, it is still a cheaper option (comparable to OTC devices), but they still have the supervision of an audiologist and the high function of a prescription hearing aid. That can make a huge difference.
Hearing Healthcare doesn't have to be expensive. There are many different options for different needs. Sometimes you need a more high tech option, and sometimes you don't. But I am a big believer that every time, you should have a licensed hearing care professional supervising the diagnosis and care.
